Gliders
Gliders are similar to rocking chairs because they slide back and forth on lateral rockers. The most common gliders are designed for two or three individuals in the style of loveseats or benches. However one-seater gliders and face-to-face gliders with frames are also becoming increasingly popular on large front porches, in sunrooms and in gazebos. Porch gliders are most commonly constructed of wood - such as cedar, pine and sometimes wicker, but gliders in almost any material and style can be found to compliment your patio décor. For example, wrought iron gliders dressed with colorful pillows offer an attractive and comfortable place to sit. A typical loveseat-style glider costs between $300 and $500 online. A pine face-to-face glider swing set will cost between $1,500 and $2,000 online.
