Yard Man

Yard Man is produced by MTD Products, a Cleveland company founded in 1932. The core values of the company have always included hard work and customer service. MTD was originally a steel products outlet. In 1958, they produced their first lawn mower. MTD is still a global leader in outdoor power equipment with manufacturing in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Lawn Boy exclusives include the AutoDrive™ foot pedal control and FastAttach™ accessories. The name Yard Man has come to stand for old-fashioned American values. The phrase 'Yard Man' also applies to Brad Hauter, the Guinness World Record holder, who crossed America on a Yard Man to raise awareness for The Great American Cleanup, in 1999. The cross-country trip will be recreated in the summer of 2005.
