Hoses

When it comes to purchasing a garden hose, the wider the hose, the more water your plants will receive. Look for a flexible hose that won't kink or flatten when bent, but modern garden hose typically has re-enforced wire built right into the tubing to prevent it from kinking, while remaining flexible. It's wise to buy a more expensive quality hose that won't crack or become stiff in cold weather. Any constrictions in the hose will greatly reduce water flow. Garden hose typically comes with an adjustable hose nozzle, and some come mounted on a spinning wheel for easy removal and rewinding. Garden hose is sold for between $12 and $90 online.
