Garden Planters
Garden planters are designed so that a plant can be grown in a hanging or a free-standing container that perches on your door step or porch railing. Planters are most available in wooden, plastic, terra cotta, birch bark and ceramic pots of different sizes and can be found in frogs, lamb and urn designs. Hanging planters are encased in mesh netting or suspended by a chain or rope so they can be hung from patio roofs, fence posts or hooks. Growing plants in planters allows you to move them as the sun changes position. With planters, you can display plants when they are in bloom and move them out of sight when they are finished. Plants in planers require more attention because they're totally dependant on you for sun exposure, water and food. Planters cost from $10 to $100 online.
