Thermometers

Outdoor clocks and thermometers come in many designs, colors and sizes. Garden thermometers are usually made of weather resistant materials such as terra cotta, ceramic, stone, bronze or copper. When purchasing an outdoor thermometer, it is important to make sure the material you choose is appropriate for all weather conditions. You'll also want to ensure that the face is fade-resistant if it's going to be placed in view of the sun. Ceramic thermometers and clocks cost a few dollars more however they have to be taken indoors during the winter because they tend to crack in freezing temperatures. There are as many design options for outdoor thermometers as there are for indoors thermometers. Online prices start as low as $15 (for plastic thermometers) up to $150 for brass and solid aluminum thermometers.
