Heated Bird Baths

Birds love heated bird baths, especially in the winter when water isn't readily available to them. Heated bird baths come in a variety of different designs and have an element which is controlled by a thermostat, to keep the water temperature above freezing. Heated pedestal bird baths will have an extension cord running up the side; while mounted bowl baths will have the cord tucked up underneath the bowl. The electrical cords of heated bird baths can plug into any standard outdoor outlet and can be removed and stored during warm months for your convenience. If you already have an unheated bird bath, you can add a heater, deicer and a thermostat to your already existing bath. These accessories can be purchased online or in almost any retail garden store.
